The Chatham Synagogue is located in the former Chatham Town Hall, in the hamlet of Chatham Center (not the village of Chatham), overlooking the Kinderhook Creek. This historic building, which dates back to the early 20th century and was used for many years as a schoolhouse, projects the simplicity and modesty that we value.
Directions to The Chatham Synagogue in Chatham Center: From Chatham Village Proceed on Route #66(North) approx 4 Miles, just past bridge over Kinderhook Creek, to County Route #28. Left onto #28 . The Synagogue is on the left, just beyond the intersection of #66 AND #28.
